Heres my reply to you charter -straight from the farmyard!

1. I agree.  I used to hate waking up every morning cold and wet when we lived with mum.  We used to have to strip the beds and wash the sheets with our pyjamas and make the bed every day.  That was a real  of a job.
2. If a kid wants to wear a diaper his decision should be respected.  If he does not want to wear one then that is okay to.

3. I am me  (little puddle and all) and I am not a dumbo!  and punishing me is not going to make things better.  Mum used to make us stand in the corner for ages until we wet our pants then she would let us out and play in wet pants.

4. I am like any ohter kid of my age.  I am normal except for my wetting and I should be treated as normal.  If you want a little green monster well I can be that too.  but I would rather be a  pirate.

5. I am a bedwetter and I pee my pants, but I am a boy, and I am good at swimming, I can read, write, draw and do lots of other things.  Sometimes I am good and sometines I am  bad, but if all I am to you is a wetter then I may as well be a  and I think you are a big  Rat!

6. Parents have to learn lots of things about bringing up kids and if the kids have problems they should learn as much about that problem as they can so they can help their kids.  They should learn about wetting just as they would learn about diabetees and insulin if their child is diabetic.  No one learns to drive a car without learning how to change a wheel when they get a puncture.

7. We are made to feel like babies and dirty and smelly and not very nice to know, or somebody to be poked fun at when we wet our pants.  we are made to feel as though we are the only ones and that it's our fault.  No wonder we end up feeling like a  werck!

8. Kids wear diapers for a reason to save the embarssment of a wet bed/wet pants and they should not be made to feel like a  because of it.  We don't wet on purpose (Not usually).  If a kid can't ride a  we don't make fun of them so why should we when they wet they can't help that either.  But with help a kid can ride a bike.  With help most kids can stop wetting eventually.

9. Diapers work for me.  They might not work for some kids - there are lots of other things drugs, exercises, alarms.  These don't work for me but they do help a lot of other kids so they should have a choice.

10. The decision to wear diapers means that that kid wants to take control of their wetting and manage it in their own way.  They had no control before. Now they have some control and they should be helped not to be treated like a baby.

11.  I am me, Whatever I wear I am still me if I wore a  I would still be ME! (a cute me, but still me!) and I should be loved and supported as me.  Wearing a dress does not threaten anyone, neither does wearing a diaper.  It may question a few old ideas but so what! Thats good aint it?

12. We should not be put down for wearing diapers and parents should talk to us about diapers and sex and things not hide them like secret  treasure.
Bye for now from this little monster.
Jamie
